Svita Khaneja

My name is Svita Khaneja.  I am a co-owner of My Petropolis, as well as a Registered Veterinarian Technician.  I am the proud mommy of a 5 year old Maltese named Rico.  He fills my days with unconditional love and sloppy kisses.  I obtained my veterinarian technician degree from St. Clair College, and have worked in the medical animal industry for over 15 years.  Recently, my strong love and passion for the care of animals has led me to have a change of heart in my career aspirations.  As a result, along with my co-worker and now business partner Amber Kozma, we decided to open up My Petropolis.  I wanted to work in the animal industry in a more positive happy light, with still being able to utilize my medical skills.  Thus, My Petropolis, an open concept Daycare/boarding facility with a strong will in caring for the overall well being of our animals; both mentally and physically was created!

Amber Kozma

Amber Kozma

Hello, my name is Amber Kozma I am a co-owner of My Petropolis.  I have four adorable kids, Aidan and Hailey are my two legged ones and Jersey and tiny are my four legged ones!  It is truly amazing to be able to go to work every day with your furry companion!  I graduated with honours from York University, and have been working in the animal industry for the past 8 years.  In doing so, I have obtained many skills sets such as qualifications in animal behavior, animal nutrition and have broadened my animal medical knowledge.   Through this valuable experience I obtained from having helped run an animal hospital for many years, it has given me the tools to branch out on my own.  Therefore, along with Svita’s medical expertise and my business background, we are the perfect pair to open a thriving animal establishment!

Gillian Orsini

Our newest edition to the My Petropolis team is Gillian Orsini.  Having worked alongside all of us in our previous animal hospital, she too has a strong love and compassion for the well being and care of all animals.  Working as a Veterinarian assistant, she learned many beneficial qualifications that enables her to notice, detect and asses various ailments that may arise in your pet.  Gillian has three very loved mischievous feline companions, and hopes to soon have a new canine addition to her family; but for the time being she treats all our daycare dogs as her very own!  She has truly enriched our My Petropolis team!
